Wool loop pile stair runner with winding stairs and navy blue border i

A nice project for us and fitted very nicely by Cavendish deVere. This is a Cormar Fairisle Cinnamon wool loop natural, rustic carpet. A very nice boucle and a very nice navy cotton border attached to it. Although, in these images it does actually look like a green border but then this is a very yellowy light source and it is taken in December so there was no natural light.

Here is what we did for our client in London

The stair runner

Stairs 1: 3 winders, 1 platform 9 straight
Stairs 2: 3 winders, 1 platform 9 straight
Stairs 3 (close fit): 5 winders and 8 straight stairs

Here is what we did

1. Arrive day 1 and template winding stairs and platforms
2. Return to workshop and cut runners to size and shape
3. Attach navy cotton border to runners

Further day / days
1. Return with runners and carpet
2. Fit grippers and underlay
3. Attach runner to grippers and underlay

All cleaned at the end and another wonderful runner made in our Wimbledon workshop with a basketweave pattern navy blue cotton border, cut to shape, mitred corners and some expert sewing!
