Our sister company fitted a rather beautiful wooden herringbone parquet floor in Central London. The client very wisely chose the V4 flooring ZB102 Nordic Beach a beautiful parquet and wanted it fitted in a herringbone pattern.
Not a massive project but decent sized at 54m2, however with any sized project for a herringbone patterned floor it is essential to get someone who knows what they are doing - otherwise you can end up with a very wonky looking floor as the pattern is easy to lose if you don't start it off correctly and get the correct line.
The project
Remove all existing flooring and dispose
Apply new ply to lounge and hall areas
Cut and fit soundsense crumb rubber underlay and lay on floor and apply f44 adhesive
Cut and fit parquet wooden floor to all lounge and floor areas
Leave expansion gap and cover with scotia
Pattern: herringbone
Clean and clear upon completion
