Walnut is considered by many to be the finest wood in the world, prized for its colour, grain, strength and lustrous patina that develops over time. Its depth and richness make it an excellent foundation for any project.
A part of our Specialist Woods collections, we have sourced the best American Walnut we could find. One of the results is Mimas, an unfinished 15mm walnut herringbone block, carefully sanded to achieve a smooth, sleek, uniform look. Each block has been engineered using nature grade walnut, which has a a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap and colour variation. Herringbone has a strong design impact and works well in all interior styles.
Choosing unfinished wood means that you can decide which finish is most suitable for your project, with the finish applied in-situ after fitting. The floor care system required will depend in the finish you choose.
Mimas is not suitable for use as wall cladding but can be used with underfloor heating.
Mimas is UKTR certified. Currently 95% of all our products are FSC or PEFC certified, and we are working hard to get that to 100%.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £250 to any address within the UK. For orders under £250, a shipping fee of £40 + VAT applies. Orders placed before 12pm UK time will be dispatched the following day and are expected to arrive within 3 weeks on the UK mainland. Deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm, so please ensure someone is available to accept the package during these hours. If the delivery cannot be completed and the package is returned, a re-delivery fee of £100 + VAT will be charged. If you have any special delivery requirements, please feel free to contact us.
