Everything you need to know about Granorte Spectrum "6721000 Basic unfinished"
Available in 10 different shades, the glue-down tiles from the Granorte Spectrum collection are a great choice if you are looking for eco-friendly affordable and modern flooring for your space.
You can choose between the classic cork look, light cork colours or more edgy darker shades, all made of cork, to suit all your project ideas! The collection consists of 9 pre-varnished decors that are ready to use and one décor that requires varnish after installation to improve wear resistance. The varnish used for these glue-down cork tiles does not contain any chemical products that could be harmful to you or the environment.
The tiles are 300x300x4mm and thanks to their practical sizing, they are easy to install and you can be sure that the installation process will not require raising any doors or furniture. Equipped with a usage class of 31 and with a high-wear surface finish, this cork flooring can withstand heavy-duty residential and light commercial use. The glue-down flooring comes with a 10-year warranty for residential use and a 5-year warranty for commercial use. Despite being elastic and resilient, cork flooring is a hard flooring option that, with proper maintenance, may last for many years. Non-slip and water-resistant, cork flooring is as durable as it comes.
Cork is not only naturally antistatic, which is crucial for people with allergies or asthma, but it is also naturally hypoallergenic (resists the growth of bacteria and fungi). Cork flooring is made without the use of any toxic chemicals. There are no observable emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the adhesives and finishing materials used.
Since its structure is breathable, even if you damage the surface through impact, the cork will regenerate and go back to its natural shape. Its softness and breathability also make it ideal for people with joint issues, since it is so soft on the joints. t is also resistant to scratches, dents, and stains, making it a great choice for busy spaces and ideal as cork flooring for a bathroom. Additionally, cork is naturally resistant to mould and mildew.
By making sure that the subfloor is smooth and even before installation, this flooring will last you for many years to come! Another big advantage of these cork tiles is their suitability for underfloor heating. Adding to the impressive technical properties, the flooring is also easy to clean and maintain, as it only requires a mop or vacuum cleaner.
