Cork Floor Tiles
The Granorte Tradition Natural cork floor tiles combine the natural beauty and comfort of cork with excellent acoustic and thermal properties. The natural cork surface provides a warm and comfortable flooring solution with natural sound and thermal insulation properties, making it suitable for a range of residential and commercial interiors.
The Tradition cork floor tiles are made from approximately 90% natural cork, a rapidly renewable resource. The product contains no PVC or plasticisers.
The Element Rustic colour features a natural cork appearance and is supplied with a natural fine-sanded, unfinished surface. The tiles require varnishing after installation to seal the joints and improve wear resistance.

Each carton contains 7.92m². To meet the minimum order requirement, customers must select a quantity of 4 cartons, providing a total of 31.68m².

Installation & Finishing
The Granorte Tradition cork tiles are supplied unfinished from the factory and must be varnished after installation. The varnish helps seal the joints and improves wear resistance.
The manufacturer recommends contact adhesive for installing cork floor tiles, with adhesive applied to both the tile backing and the subfloor.
Recommended adhesive: Wakol D3540 specialist cork adhesive.
After installation, allow the adhesive coating to dry completely for at least 24 hours before finishing. The floor should then be thoroughly cleaned before varnishing.
For these unfinished cork tiles, Granorte's laying instructions specify applying 3 coats of varnish. Always follow the varnish manufacturer's instructions and use a product specifically recommended for cork.
Recommended Finishing Products
Granorte's installation guidance lists the following products for finishing, joint sealing and renovation:

Always check the latest technical data sheet and follow the manufacturer's application instructions for the selected finishing product.
Bathroom Suitability
Granorte has confirmed that Tradition cork tiles can be used in bathrooms when correctly installed and finished.
Post-installation varnishing helps seal the joints and improve moisture resistance.
Important: These tiles are not suitable for wetrooms or shower rooms.
Any moisture or water spills should be mopped up immediately. The floor should not be exposed to excessive or prolonged moisture.
Underfloor Heating
The Tradition cork floor tiles are suitable for use with underfloor heating when the heating system is built into the floor screed.
The recommended maximum surface temperature is 28°C.
The manufacturer's specific cork tile installation instructions for underfloor heating must be followed.
Care & Maintenance
The cork floor should be kept clean using regular dry cleaning methods such as sweeping or vacuuming.
For light soiling, use an appropriate pH-neutral cleaning product. When damp cleaning is necessary, use only a small amount of moisture and avoid excessive water.
Do not use:
- Ammonia-based cleaners
- Abrasive cleaning products
- Wax-based products
- Acrylic finishes
- Bleach
- Oil soaps
- Acidic products such as vinegar
Furniture should be fitted with suitable protective pads, and doormats should be used at entrances to help prevent dirt and grit from reaching the floor.
Avoid prolonged contact with rubber, latex, plastics or other materials containing plasticisers, as these may cause irreversible staining of the finished surface.

Returning Items:
What You Can Return
For carpet tiles and wooden floors, a 40% restocking fee applies to all returns. Items returned must be undamaged and in their original packaging. If not, you may be responsible for additional fees and may not receive a refund. The buyer is responsible for return postage.

exchange, email us with your Order Number and reason for return. We'll respond with instructions on how to proceed.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel an order, it must be done within 24
hours of purchase and before the order has been shipped for a full refund. Once
shipped, cancellations are not accepted. Instead, apply for a return after
receiving the package. Refunds generally take 5 to 15 business days. If you
haven't received your refund within 30 days, please email us.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £250 to any address within the UK. For orders under £250, a shipping fee of £40 + VAT applies. Orders placed before 12pm UK time will be dispatched the following day and are expected to arrive within 5 to 7 business days on the UK mainland. Deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm, so please ensure someone is available to accept the package during these hours.
