This is a stunning black and white carpet wool runner with a black cotton whipped edge to prevent fraying.
It makes a wonderful runner that will add impact to any staircase. A very densely packed, high quality Axminster carpet made from blended wool it is very, very high quality. Remember it is a straight runner for straight stairs. In the images this is the exact same runner so be aware how the lighting will affect the look. It really does look fantastic on the stairs.
This comes without a border - but if you want a border on the sides - no problem! Just ask!
This is a superior runner to other, cheaper alternatives on the internet which generally use inferior materials.
This runner can be made to go around corners (platforms), or winding stairs (aka winders, kite shaped, pie shaped stairs. Get in touch if you need further help.

How to order
As a rule of them and for guidance only;
Just count your steps and order accordingly
1 step will require 0.5m length of runner to cover it.
Over 6m long and your runner may come in 2 sections for ease of transport.
It will make NO difference to the fitting however, if you want it in one section please contact us before ordering. It takes a little longer and costs a little more.

Pictures displayed are a guide only, as colours can vary dependent on your monitor/tablet/phone - we highly recommend you request a sample piece before you order to make sure you are happy - we send them, out free.
This is a stair runner. Therefore the ends are not whipped as they will need to be cut to be fitted. If you want a floor runner with whipped and taped ends then please get in touch.

How to measure for a stair runner
Winding stairs, platforms and landings
A straight runner won't fit on a curved or winding stair. You need a special piece cut for that. You can order these on the left but please be aware we are going to need a template sent to us in the post in order for us to cut them to the correct size.
On a final note
On a final (final!) note, please be aware that a lot of time, cost and care goes into creating your runner. Regardless of where you purchased it from, if you have bought it on a whim with the intention of sending it back if it isn’t quite right, We urge you to reconsider, cancel your order and just request some samples so you can be sure of your purchase. We send them out free.

Returning Items:
What You Can't Return
Hand-made runners, cut-to-size carpets, marmoleum, vinyls, and stair-rods are these are not

We cannot accept returns as they are made especially for you. They are bespoke, so please, please make
sure you have the correct measurements and you are sure of your purchase.
Returning Items:
What You Can Return
For carpet tiles and wooden floors, a 40% restocking fee applies to all returns. Items returned must be undamaged and in their original packaging. If not, you may be responsible for additional fees and may not receive a refund. The buyer is responsible for return postage.
Please note, all returns or exchanges must first be approved by our Customer Service team at info@fenstoncarter.co.uk. Do not send items back without contacting us first. To initiate a return or
exchange, email us with your Order Number and reason for return. We'll respond with instructions on how to proceed.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel an order, it must be done within 24
hours of purchase and before the order has been shipped for a full refund. Once
shipped, cancellations are not accepted. Instead, apply for a return after
receiving the package. Refunds generally take 5 to 15 business days. If you
haven't received your refund within 30 days, please email us.
