It’s extremely hard-wearing, looks remarkably like sisal, but is much tougher, easier to clean, and won’t stain with water. We have a helpful installation video showing how we fitted this faux sisal runner to stairs.
This is a superior runner compared to many cheaper alternatives online, which often use inferior materials.
This runner can also be made to go around corners (platforms) or winding stairs (winders, kite-shaped or pie-shaped stairs). Please get in touch if you need guidance.

As a general rule for guidance:
1 step requires approximately 0.5 metres of runner length.
Over 6 metres long and your runner may arrive in two sections for easier transport.
This makes no difference to fitting. If you would prefer it in one continuous piece, please contact us before ordering. It takes slightly longer and costs a little more.

This is a stair runner. The ends are not finished, as they will be cut during installation. If you require a floor runner with finished ends, please contact us.

Fitting
A straight polypropylene, man-made fibre runner can be fitted yourself. We provide a helpful video guide explaining the process step-by-step.

Final Note
Each runner is bespoke and handmade in our London workshop. A great deal of time, cost and care goes into producing your order.
If you are unsure, please request free samples first. We strongly recommend this rather than ordering with the intention of returning.

Returning Items:
What You Can't Return
Hand-made runners, cut-to-size carpets, marmoleum, vinyls, and stair-rods are these are not

We cannot accept returns as they are made especially for you. They are bespoke, so please, please make
sure you have the correct measurements and you are sure of your purchase.
Returning Items:
What You Can Return
For carpet tiles and wooden floors, a 40% restocking fee applies to all returns. Items returned must be undamaged and in their original packaging. If not, you may be responsible for additional fees and may not receive a refund. The buyer is responsible for return postage.
Please note, all returns or exchanges must first be approved by our Customer Service team at info@fenstoncarter.co.uk. Do not send items back without contacting us first. To initiate a return or
exchange, email us with your Order Number and reason for return. We'll respond with instructions on how to proceed.
Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel an order, it must be done within 24
hours of purchase and before the order has been shipped for a full refund. Once
shipped, cancellations are not accepted. Instead, apply for a return after
receiving the package. Refunds generally take 5 to 15 business days. If you
haven't received your refund within 30 days, please email us.

Enjoy free shipping on all orders! These are made to order. We deliver them anywhere inside the UK within 3 weeks. Most orders are actually fulfilled much faster, but please don't rely on getting lucky! Upon purchase, you will be sent a link to the production and delivery sheet so you can track the progress of your hand-made runner. We deliver via Transglobal Express. This is a premium carrier, i.e. they actually have a human customer services department you can speak to.
