Carpenter’s 9mm carpet underlay is specially developed for stair runners installed using the double-stick method, making it the ideal choice for sisal stair runners, jute stair runners, seagrass stair runners, and faux sisal stair runners.
The double-stick installation method creates a strong, secure, and long-lasting fit. The underlay is glued directly to the stairs, then the stair runner is bonded to the underlay for enhanced stability, comfort, and performance. In some installations, short-pin gripper rods may also be used to achieve the best finish.
Manufactured from high-density PU sponge foam, Carpenter’s PowerStep 9mm underlay adds a softer, more luxurious feel underfoot while providing the support needed for both domestic and contract use. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We cannot accept returns as they are made especially for you. They are bespoke, so please, please make
sure you have the correct measurements and you are sure of your purchase.
Returning Items:
What You Can Return
For carpet tiles and wooden floors, a 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. Items returned must be undamaged and in their original packaging. If not, you may be responsible for additional fees and may not receive a refund. The buyer is responsible for return postage.
